He has worked as General Manager (Engineering)
in Jaypee Hotels Ltd. from 1989 to 1999.He was responsible
for operations, Maintenance of Engineering Services of 2
nos. 5 Star Hotels (Hotel Siddharth at Rajindra Place
and Hotel Vasant Continental at Vasant Vihar, New Delhi)
and Planning, Designing, Execution of renovation works
consisting of Guest Rooms, Kitchens, Plants
&machinery etc. of these two Hotels in new Delhi.

B.Sc(Engg.) (E) from Punjab University in
1971 with First Division.
Professional Achievements
Appreciation from ITDC management for completing
the project work of Qutab Hotel Expansion, New Delhi in
record time in the year 1978-79.
Designing of Electrical system of 5-Star
Hotels/Commercial Complex/residential Buildings
consisting of Low Voltage and Medium Voltage
distribution.
Nominated for "Chief Engineer of the year"
award in the year 1997-98 conducted by the Hotel Food
& Services, Mumbai.
Installed "Elevonic Elevator" for the first
time in 5 -Star Hotels in the year 1998-99
Gor Appreciation from the "Star Categorization Committee"
of Ministry of Tourism in the year 1998-99 for
maintaining the Engineering Services of the Hotel
specially Electrical Sub-Station, D.G.Set Installation
and Central Air-Conditioning System. The Hotel has been categorized
5-Star "Deluxe" during this inspection.
Worked for Operation & maintenance of 5 Star Deluxe
Hotel for continuous period of 11 years i.e. 1989-1999
and executing the renovation works simultaneously.
Responsible for Engineering Services work of new project
i.e. "Construction of Head Quarter Building"
in the year 1999-2000.
