Chef Rakesh Sethi is an alumnus of The Institute of Hotel
 Management, Delhi and has a vast and varied experience
 behind him.

 He joined the industry in the year 1982, beginning with Hotel
 Corporation of India. From here he was nominated as Senior
 Cook on deputation for few months in Household section of the
 President Estate when Honorable Shri R Venkataraman was
 the President of India.
  
 Having worked in various positions in different hotels Holiday
 Inn Crown Plaza (Delhi), Hyatt (Delhi), Leela  Kempinski
 (Mumbai), Parkroyal (Delhi) andYak & Yeti (Kathmandu). The
 jass Oberoi, khajuraho as Executive Chef in 1997 and after a 
 successful stint of 18 months, joined The Oberoi, New Delhi
 (as a member of Leading Hotels of the World) as Executive
 Sous Chef in 1999.

 With broad experience of running and opening new Kitchens
 he describes himself as a Chef who puts his burning desire to 
 produce excellent and wholesome nutritious food above
 anything else.

 In his current position of Executive Sous Chef his focus lies on
 sharing his experience and work philosophy gained through
 working in all different hotels to broaden the vistas of the
 chefs around him, to amalgamate the different cultures and
 have a healthy vibrant cuisine for the next millennium in
 conjunction with the Oberoi principles and philosophy.
